Forrest joined BDC Realty, LLC in May 2007 to continue his success in retail brokerage and sales while gaining the opportunity to become more directly involved in the selection, construction, ownership, and management of retail properties.

Prior to joining BDC, Forrest worked for Taylor Long Properties, where he achieved the following results:

• Represented a 6,000 sq. ft. retailer for the entire state of Virginia; over 48,000 sq. ft. of leases valued at over $5,000,000 under negotiation or executed
• Named leasing agent for 220,000 sq. ft. community shopping center; successfully leased an additional 26,000 sq. ft.; achieved 100% occupancy
• Signed listings for over 17 acres of land worth over $6,000,000 and for two proposed retail developments totaling over 138 acres
• Obtained tenant representation agreement for a 40-unit hotel operator

Before becoming a licensed Real Estate Professional in January 2004, Forrest worked for Capital One Financial Corporation. During his nine-year employment with Capital One, Forrest developed an expertise in business and finance. These skills in communications, relationship-building, negotiations, and business finance enhance his ability to serve the needs of his clients.

Forrest specializes in market research, site selection, land acquisition, landlord and tenant representation for Central and Eastern Virginia markets.
